All 15 Barn Find Locations in Forza Horizon 6

Complete guide to every Barn Find car in Forza Horizon 6 Japan. Locations by region, how to unlock them through Discover Japan stamps, and ANNA drone tips.

How Barn Finds Work in Forza Horizon 6

Barn Finds aren’t scattered around the map waiting to be stumbled upon. They’re locked behind the Discover Japan progression system. Each time you earn a new stamp (by exploring regions, finding landmarks, and completing activities), a batch of Barn Finds becomes available.

When a Barn Find unlocks, a translucent purple circle appears on your map showing the general search area. The actual barn is hidden somewhere inside that circle. You can drive around looking for it manually, or use the ANNA drone — fly close enough to the barn structure and it pins the exact location on your map.

There are 15 Barn Finds total. All of them are Japanese or European classics worth adding to your garage.

Ohtani Region (3 Barn Finds)

2005 Honda NSX-R GT

Your first Barn Find. Head north of Mei’s House (the free starter property). Follow the main road past a tight right-hand hairpin, then a 90-degree left. When the road turns right again, drive straight through the trees until you hit a gravel road. A smaller gravel driveway shoots off to the south — follow it to the barn. The NSX-R GT is one of the most capable mid-engine cars in the game.

1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3

Hidden in a bamboo forest between the two main roads that cut through Ohtani. Look for a dense bamboo cluster near the region’s eastern edge. The barn sits in a small clearing you can’t see from the road. ANNA helps here — the canopy makes ground-level searching frustrating.

1998 Nissan R390 GT1

Near the border with Shimanoyama. There’s a dirt path running along the region boundary — the barn is tucked off a branch of this path. The R390 GT1 is an absolute monster on circuits. Only five road-going versions were ever built in real life.

Ito Region (4 Barn Finds)

1969 Toyota 2000GT

Near the Minka House by the seawall. This is one of the easier finds — the coastal area is relatively open and the barn is visible from multiple angles if you’re driving slowly along the waterfront road. The 2000GT is Japan’s first supercar and handles like a dream despite its age.

1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500

Sitting on a wooded hill south of the main crossroads junction in Ito. The hill is forested enough to hide the barn from road-level views, but if you climb the slope (any car with decent off-road capability works), it’s straightforward. A Group A touring legend.

1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV

Look for a deforested strip near a three-way junction. The cleared ground makes this barn easier to spot than most — there’s less tree cover hiding it. The Diablo SV is pure analog supercar. No driver aids, brutal power, incredible noise.

1983 Nissan #11 Tomica Skyline Turbo Super Silhouette

Southwestern edge of the Ito search area. This one sits deeper in the trees than the others in this region. Use ANNA if you’re spending more than five minutes on foot. The Super Silhouette is a piece of Japanese motorsport history — the body kit barely resembles a Skyline anymore.

Nangan Region (1 Barn Find)

1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R

Far south of the Nangan search area. This region has wide-open terrain compared to the forested zones, so the barn is easier to spot visually. The Hakosuka GT-R — if you know JDM culture, you know why this car matters. It’s the one that started the GT-R legacy.

Minamino Region (1 Barn Find)

1989 Nissan Pao

Hidden in woods on the west side of the search area, along a dirt path. The Pao is a surprise here — it’s not fast, not powerful, and not particularly rare in real life. But it’s charming as hell and one of the better drift builds in the game due to its light weight. Pike Factory fans will love it.

Hokubu Region (1 Barn Find)

1962 Lincoln Continental

In a patch of trees south of the center of the search area. Hokubu is relatively flat, so the barn’s roof peaks out above the treeline if you know where to look. The Continental is a land yacht — absurdly long, absurdly heavy, absurdly cool for highway cruising and photo mode shots.

Takashiro Region (2 Barn Finds)

1998 Nissan #23 Pennzoil NISMO Skyline GT-R

Woods on the eastern edge of the search area. The Pennzoil GT-R’s distinctive yellow-and-blue livery is one of the most iconic in JGTC history. It’s a competitive circuit racer straight out of the barn.

1991 Mazda #55 Mazda 787B

Woods directly north of the search area center. The 787B is the only rotary-powered car to win Le Mans. Its four-rotor engine screams at frequencies that make other cars sound broken. One of the best-sounding vehicles in the entire game. Worth finding for the audio alone.

Shimanoyama Region (3 Barn Finds)

1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16

End of a dirt road running up a hill. The 205 T16 was a Group B rally monster. In-game it’s one of the best rally cars available, with excellent weight distribution and immediate turbo response.

1997 Mitsubishi Montero Evolution

Forest on the southwestern edge of the search area. The Montero Evolution is a surprise entrant — a Dakar Rally version of the Pajero that most players won’t recognize. Excellent for cross-country events.

2005 Mitsubishi #1 Sierra Enterprises Lancer Evolution Time Attack

Center of the search area, overlooking Narai-Juku town (a real-life Japanese heritage site recreated in-game). This is the Evo that set time attack records. It’s hidden behind the town itself, so approach from the hillside above rather than through the settlement.

Tips for Finding Barns Faster

  • Use ANNA first, drive second. Launch the drone, fly over the purple circle at medium altitude, and look for wooden structures. It’s faster than driving random dirt roads.
  • Listen for the audio cue. When you’re close to a barn, ambient music fades and you’ll hear a subtle wind/creak sound effect.
  • Check at night. Barns have a faint warm glow from inside that’s nearly invisible during daytime but stands out after dark.
  • Don’t rush. Barn Finds unlock in batches tied to Discover Japan stamps. If you only have one stamp, you can only find the first few barns. Keep exploring to unlock more.
