Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Horizon Decades: Dates, Cars, and Everything Confirmed
Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Horizon Decades runs June 18 to July 16, 2026. Here's everything confirmed: the four seasons, all 10 reward cars and point costs, the new Car Pass lineup, the Decades Badge, and how to prep before Welcome to Japan ends.
Welcome to Japan is ending, and Series 2 changes the theme
The launch series, Welcome to Japan, wraps up on June 18, 2026, and Series 2: Horizon Decades takes over the same day. The pivot is right there in the name. Where Series 1 was a month of JDM icons, Horizon Decades opens the doors to cars from across the decades and continents. A 1988 Lamborghini Countach shares the playlist with a 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10. A 1989 VW Rallye Golf sits next to a 2017 Saleen S7 LM. If Series 1 felt narrow on purpose, this one is built to be a grab bag.
Here’s everything that’s been confirmed so far, with the usual caveat: this is pre-launch info pulled from the official reveal, and Playground Games can still tweak details before it goes live.
Dates and structure
Series 2: Horizon Decades runs from June 18, 2026 at 5:30 PM to July 16, 2026 at 5:30 PM. Like every series, it splits into four weekly seasons:
- Summer from June 18
- Autumn from June 25
- Winter from July 2
- Spring from July 9
You earn points by completing Festival Playlist activities each week, then spend them on that season’s reward cars. If you’ve been running Series 1, the loop is identical. If the playlist system is new to you, the Festival Playlist guide breaks it down.
The 10 reward cars at a glance
Horizon Decades brings 10 new reward cars spread across the series. Two are available the whole month, and each season adds a pair:
- Series-wide: 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (80 PTS) and 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430 (160 PTS)
- Summer: 1989 VW Rallye Golf and 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV
- Autumn: 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12 and 1993 Schuppan 962CR
- Winter: 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 and 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning
- Spring: 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R and 2017 Saleen S7 LM
For the full point costs season by season and which to chase first, see the dedicated Horizon Decades reward cars guide.
The Car Pass adds four more
Separate from the playlist rewards, Car Pass holders get four new cars dropping one per week:
- June 18: 2023 Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD
- June 25: 1974 Mazda #123 Mad Mike 808 Wagon ‘FURSTY’
- July 2: 1998 Nissan Skyline GT-R 40th Anniversary
- July 9: 2023 Toyota GR Corolla
That Mad Mike FURSTY wagon is the one people are going to talk about. It’s a wild drift build, and it’s exactly the kind of oddball the “decades” theme exists to justify.
The Decades Badge and a new Car Meet
Two extras round out the series. There’s a temporary new Car Meet location to visit during Horizon Decades, and a special Decades Badge for your profile that unlocks when you complete each type of Festival Playlist activity. If you’re a completionist, that badge is the flex to chase.
How to prep before June 18
Series transitions reset the weekly grind, so spend the last few days of Welcome to Japan wisely:
- Finish any Series 1 reward cars you still want. Once Welcome to Japan ends, those rewards leave the playlist. The seasonal events guide covers what’s still claimable.
- Bank your skill points and wheelspins so you start Series 2 with momentum instead of an empty garage.
- Sort your event-ready cars. Horizon Decades will ask for everything from an ’80s classic to a modern hypercar, so having a spread across classes saves you scrambling. The car list guide helps you fill gaps.
Come June 18, the playlist refreshes and the Countach is waiting. Worth being ready.
